Seattle Seahawks
The past two offseasons have been unkind to the Seattle Seahawks. First, Kam Chancellor and Cliff Avril were done due to injuries and now Doug Baldwin is gone after reports surfaced of injury concerns for him. They did find a good replacement in D.K. Metcalf, who was the talk of the Scouting Combine but slipped to No. 64 overall.

Unfortunately, his selection was a good one in the midst of their typical draft day reaches. The latest came at pick No. 29 when they took L.J. Collier from TCU. A decent defensive lineman, Collier wasn’t a sure-fire first-round pick and Seattle could have done better staying put rather than trading down and taking him.
Not only that, but they once again ignored the offensive line early. Quarterback Russell Wilson has had to run for his life his entire career, and this will continue as the O-line remains unchanged from a season ago.
If there was a silver lining this offseason, it was the fact that they came to terms with Wilson on an extension. There was concern leading up to the announcement that something could go wrong and rumors had him landing with the New York Giants via trade. Thankfully that didn’t happen because no matter how many blunders they make, he’s going to give them a chance to win.
