Grading every NFL team’s 2019 offseason

Buffalo Bills
After adding quarterback Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen in the first round last season, the Buffalo Bills knew they needed to build around him in order for him to succeed. The question is whether or not they did the enough in that pursuit.
Understanding they needed receivers, Buffalo went out and signed former Dallas Cowboys slot receiver Cole Beasley and Baltimore Ravens speedster John Brown. Both fill needs but they overpaid for Beasley and now have a collection of No. 2 receivers with Brown and Beasley joining Zay Jones.
At running back, they also needed to get younger with LeSean McCoy set to turn 31 this season. They didn’t do that, but instead got older as they signed 35-year old Frank Gore and now boast the oldest backfield in the game.
The saving grace for them was landing Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver in the draft. He was considered the No. 1 overall pick at one point but ended up being leapfrogged as the event came closer. That made him a steal for where Buffalo got him. They also had great value in Cody Ford with their second-round pick. Overall, not a terrible offseason. But also, not a great one.
