NFC South

Atlanta FalconsJordan Miller, CB, Washington

An injury and a high-profile teammate at the same position made Jordan Miller a bit of a forgotten man leading up to the draft. He has the potential to be a solid starter in the NFL for a long time. He’s a nice value for the Falcons as a fifth-rounder.

Carolina PanthersChristian Miller, Edge, Alabama

The pass-rushing specialist has yet to reach his full potential thanks to limited playing time in college, but Christian Miller is a guy you can see becoming a perennial All-Pro once some NFL position coaches can polish him up. You can’t do much better in the fourth round.

New Orlean SaintsChauncey Gardner-Johnson, S, Florida

I saw plenty of mocks that had Chauncey Gardner-Johnson as a first-rounder thank to his ability to play both safety and corner. Luckily for the Saints, the chips fell the way they did and they were able to land a first-round talent with a fourth-round pick.

Tampa Bay BuccaneersAnthony Nelson, DE, Iowa

In terms of NFL-readiness and lack of red flags, Anthony Nelson is one of the safest picks of the 2019 NFL Draft. His size and strength will always allow him to win battles in the trenches and set the edge. The Buccaneers got a good one in the fourth round.
