2019 NFL Draft: Best value pick for all 32 teams
By J.P. Scott
NFC West
Arizona Cardinals: Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa State
Kyler Murray is going to need big targets — especially in the red zone. Hakeem Butler is about as big as there is. Plenty of scouts and analysts had him as one of the top two or three receivers in the class. Arizona was able to grab him with a fourth-round pick.
Los Angeles Rams: David Edwards, T, Wisconsin
Wisconsin offensive linemen are pretty safe picks, and that’s what the Rams got here in the fourth round. David Edwards played through a shoulder injury for most of 2018 and was still able to garner All-Big Ten Second Team honors. He should see playing time right away.
San Francisco 49ers: Kaden Smith, TE, Stanford
Kaden Smith got lost in the mix of a loaded tight end class, which is a rarity. He’s a better blocker than receiver, and that will likely be his role opposite George Kittle when the 49ers decide to go with two-tight end sets. He’s a nice value as a sixth-rounder.
Seattle Seahawks: Demarcus Christmas, DT, Florida State
Demarcus Christmas has immediate value in the defensive line rotation against the run. He’ll be a bit of a specialist in that respect, but there is incredible value in that. Anytime you can get a guy like that in the sixth round, you take it.
