The Atlanta Falcons are stacked with talent, but these three dream additions would make the Dirty Birds clear favorites to bring home the Lombardi Trophy in 2019.

The Atlanta Falcons are setting their sights high once again in 2019, as they look to make it back to the postseason after a one-year absence. While that’s definitely realistic for a team ravaged with injuries in 2018, it’s not hard to see where the Dirty Birds still have some significant holes and lack of depth on their roster. They tried to fill those holes this offseason, but a lack of resources severely limited their ability to make serious changes.

Knowing this fact, it’s become easy to start wondering what this Dirty Birds squad would look like if they did have the resources and leverage to acquire any player in the league they coveted. While we all know that scenario alone is unrealistic, that’s exactly what makes it interesting and enticing.

If you’ve been following Atlanta football for any period of time, you’ll probably be the first to guess which side of the ball needs the most help. If you need a guess, it’s definitely not the unit Julio Jones competes with each weekend. Don’t get me wrong, the Falcons have some solid players on defense, but they’re not nearly the unstoppable unit they could be with a few of these dream additions.

That said, take a look at three dream additions that would make the Dirty Birds serious Lombardi Trophy contenders in 2019.
