2. Corey Linsley
Center Corey Linsley has been a staple along the Packers’ offensive line for several years now. Since being drafted in the fifth round in 2014, Linsley has played in 70 career games and hasn’t missed a snap in over two years. In fact, he’s played 2,484 straight snaps dating back to the middle of the 2016 season.
There’s an argument to be made that Linsley is the Packers’ second-best offensive lineman, behind left tackle David Bakhtiari, of course. He graded out as Pro Football Focus’ No. 6 center last season and the No. 4 pass-blocking center. It remains to be seen how Linsley could adapt to Matt LaFleur’s zone running scheme, but he’s certainly athletic and technical enough to handle the responsibilities that come with it, so we shouldn’t see too much of an issue.
Even though he’s never made a Pro Bowl (he was named an alternate in 2018) or an All-Pro, Linsley has been a consistent cog in Green Bay’s offense since his rookie season. Still only 27 years old, he signed a multi-year extension at the end of the 2017 season. Entering his sixth year as a pro, we should see more of the same consistency in 2019.
