Cornerback: Terrance Mitchell, Cleveland Browns

Contract: Three years, $10 million with $2 million signing bonus

A former seventh-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, Terrance Mitchell wasn’t very well known coming out of Oregon. He also struggled to catch on early in his career as he was cut by the Cowboys, but returned the following season after being let go by the Chicago Bears. Eventually, he caught on with the Kansas City Chiefs and played well for them in 2016 and 2017.

He then signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2018 for just over $3 million a season. He fractured his forearm and missed eight games, but had 38 tackles, an interception, and two forced fumbles when he was on the field. Mitchell enters this season battling Greedy Williams for the starting spot and offers more than his salary suggests he should.

Cornerback: Chris Harris, Jr., Denver Broncos

Contract: Six years, $45.2 million, $10.9 million guaranteed

Entering the 2019 season, Harris is scheduled to account for less than $9 million on the Broncos salary cap which is an incredibly low number for a player considered a cornerback No. 1. That’s why he hasn’t been thrilled with his contract and there has been talk of him being sent elsewhere via trade.

He may not stay underpaid for long, but as of now, he makes the 2019 NFL All-Bargain Team because Harris is better than many players who are out there earning millions more per season.
