Defensive Tackle: Antwaun Woods, Dallas Cowboys

Contract: Two years, $1.05 Million

Another Dallas defensive tackle makes the list of underpaid players as Antwaun Woods fills one of the two defensive tackle roles. Undrafted out of USC in 2016, Woods began his career with the Tennessee Titans but appeared in just one game for them.

After being released before the 2018 season, he landed with the Cowboys on a two-year deal. He wasn’t guaranteed a roster spot but not only made the team, but he also wound up being their starting nose tackle.

Woods recorded 34 tackles and 1.5 sacks and should be able to earn a bigger payday should he have as effective a season in 2019 as he did in 2018.

Defensive Tackle: Malcom Brown, New Orleans Saints

Contract: Three years, $15 million with $5.5 million guaranteed

Next to Woods on our 2019 NFL All-Bargain Team is Malcom Brown, a former first-round pick of the New England Patriots. Brown was a four-year starter for the Pats and had 186 tackles in that span as well as 8.5 sacks.

He then hit free agency but didn’t generate a whole lot of interest. This allowed the New Orleans Saints to come in and sign him to a team-friendly contract where he will earn $5 million per season. That’s not exactly minimum wage in the NFL, but it’s also fairly low for a starter who can stuff the run and provide a push in the pass rush as well.
