Even with the primary waves of free agency and the 2019 NFL Draft out of the way, the Dallas Cowboys could still look to add some talent ahead of training camp

It’s late in the game, but that doesn’t mean players can’t still be added in free agency. The Seattle Seahawks, for example, got back to work luring unsigned players as they came to terms with defensive end Ezekiel Ansah on a one-year deal.

For years, the Dallas Cowboys have modeled a lot of their philosophies after what Seattle has been doing so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them decide to also kick the tires on some late-stage free agents.

Up to this point, they’ve been smart about their moves. They landed Randall Cobb as a replacement to Cole Beasley on a one-year deal. Cobb is younger than Beasley and will make less money this season than the slot receiver he replaced.

Dallas also added competition for the strong safety position by agreeing to terms with former Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals safety George Iloka. Like Cobb, Iloka was inked to a one-year deal which gives them some flexibility next season which is important given the number of expiring contracts that need to be addressed.

Now with those moves done, as well as many others including the 2019 NFL Draft, it may seem as though the Cowboys are set for the season. That doesn’t have to be the case, however.

Just as the Seahawks found Ansah, there is still some talent available that the Cowboys could consider adding before they start training camp. Here are three such players who they should consider.
