Green Bay Packers: 9-7

After failing to reach the playoffs the last two seasons, the Green Bay Packers hope for better results in 2019 now that Matt LaFleur is on board calling the shots.

With all due respect to Mike McCarthy since the argument can be made that it was unfair for the former head coach to be fired in the middle of last season, the move should have taken place a long time ago.

Even though the offense isn’t anywhere close to what it was a few years ago when Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb were considered two of the top players in the NFL, there are a handful of young players Aaron Rodgers should be excited to work with.

Similar to Stafford, Rodgers has always been the kind of quarterback who makes the players around him better on offense. It’s only a matter of time before he’s punching his ticket to Canton for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

When looking at how Rodgers is one of the most competitive players in the NFL, one can only imagine the high level of motivation the Packers star will be playing with in 2019 to help his team end their two-year drought from the NFC playoffs.

And who knows, if Rodgers can find a way to stay healthy without taking too many hits while running the offense, maybe Green Bay will watch its quarterback find his name in the MVP conversation.

Then again, as long as the Packers are winning games and in the hunt for a playoff spot, this is all Rodgers and the team really care about the most.
