New York Giants: 5-11

The good news for the New York Giants is thanks to a few key moves, the team was able to earn three picks in the first round of this year’s draft consisting of Daniel Jones, Dexter Lawrence and Deandre Baker.

However, as exciting as this is for a team like the Giants coming off a five-win season, this still doesn’t take away from their questionable decision this offseason to move on from Odell Beckham Jr. the way they did.

No one needs to explain just how much of a difference maker Beckham is on offense when healthy. The Cleveland Browns should be thrilled about the potential with the wideout now on board as a new target for Baker Mayfield to work with.

To this day, some still question why a team like New York would want to trade away a receiver like Beckham, but on a positive note, at least Saquon Barkley is still part of the picture.

In comparison to the rest of the NFC East, New York is predicted to finish near the bottom. The other three teams all seem capable of competing for a playoff spot, but maybe the Giants will have a few tricks up their sleeves.

Then again, even when looking at their schedule outside the NFC East, the Giants could be in for another long season, whether they want to hear it or not.

Not to mention, if things do go south for New York again, it will be interesting to see if they decide to bench Manning in order to give Jones some experience as a rookie.
