Seattle Seahawks: 8-8

Keeping the trend going in the NFC West, the Seattle Seahawks could be in for an interesting 2019 season now that one of Russell Wilson’s favorite targets in Doug Baldwin (retirement) is no longer in the picture.

After missing out on the playoffs in 2017 for the first time during the Wilson era, the Seahawks were able to bounce back last season by earning one of the Wild Card spots in the NFC before falling to the Dallas Cowboys opening weekend.

Coming off the signing of a massive contract, all eyes will be on Wilson to see if the quarterback can lead Seattle to another playoff appearance with hopefully a deeper run.

But believe it or not, the Seahawks could end up being one of the previous playoff teams that ends up coming short in 2019. Their schedule consists of plenty of difficult contests, ranging from the AFC North and AFC South outside of the division.

Wilson has put together plenty of amazing performances throughout his career. He tends to pull off the unthinkable from time to time by leading Seattle to wins against all odds, but this year could be different.

With all due respect to the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, the Seahawks are the one team that could give the Los Angeles Rams a run for their money within the division.

Unfortunately for the Seahawks, the Rams seem to be on a completely different level right now talent wise. As a result, Seattle could miss out on the division title for a third year in a row.
