With reports indicating that Terrelle Pryor is expected to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, here are three reasons why the move would be worth the risk.

A few months ago, the thought of Terrelle Pryor joining a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars, as is reportedly expected to happen, would seem laughable since the wideout has taken a major step back over the last two seasons since his impressive 2016 campaign with the Cleveland Browns.

However, when taking a closer look at the situation in Jacksonville, the potential move doesn’t sound so crazy after all for the Jaguars if it’s going to put the team in better position to compete for the AFC South title in 2019.

After working out for the Jaguars on Wednesday, reports now indicate that Pryor is expected to sign with the team to provide another wide receiver for Nick Foles to work with on offense.

To say Pryor’s last two seasons in the NFL have been a complete bust would be a huge understatement since the wideout just couldn’t seem to figure out a way to get into a groove with either the Washington Redskins, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.

As bad as it sounds, it’s easy to understand why Pryor is still available at this point in the offseason since he’s clearly not up there in the ranks with some of the other players at his position, but also this doesn’t mean Jacksonville is foolish for considering the move.

If anything, the Jaguars should feel confident in taking a risk on Pryor if the two sides do in fact reach an agreement, and here three reasons to back the claim up with training camp officially less than two months away.
