2. Foles could be major upgrade at quarterback

Now that Blake Bortles is officially out of the picture for the Jaguars, the team can focus on building their offense around former Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles after signing the quarterback to a hefty contract this offseason.

Early on in the offseason, Jacksonville seemed like a strong candidate to land Foles, and while it’s certainly going to be exciting to see what kind of spark he provides to the offense, the Jaguars also know there are no guarantees.

In comparison to what Foles had to work with as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, the Jaguars don’t even come close to offering their new quarterback the same kind of talent, and it’s not even worth the debate.

Jacksonville may feel confident in the young group of receivers they currently have to work with, but hopefully the team realizes this may not even be enough to help Foles live up to the hype.

As for Pryor, well if the deal with Jaguars does end up taking place, the case can be made that Foles will be the best quarterback he’s worked with since making the switch to receiver.

With all due respect to Kirk Cousins, who Pryor played with in 2017, Foles has proven to be on a completely different level than the current Minnesota Vikings and former Washington Redskins quarterback.
