If the Carolina Panthers are going to have any chance at winning Super Bowl 54, here are three ways it could happen.

Last season, when the Carolina Panthers jumped out to a 6-2 start, the team seemed to be at least a lock for a Wild Card spot in the NFC before it all fell apart in the final two months. Not only would the Panthers go on to win just one more game for the remainder of the 2018 season, but that lone victory came in a meaningless Week 17 contest in which the New Orleans Saints were resting their starters.

In other words, Carolina basically didn’t win a single game following that impressive start, and while the argument can be made that Ron Rivera certainly deserved another to prove he could be the answer at head coach, the pressure is on heading into 2019.

Unfortunately for the Panthers, that’s going to be easier said than done since there are a few factors working against them, whether it happens to be playing in a tough NFC South division, or simply the concerns surrounding Cam Newton’s shoulder.

Either way, the good news for Carolina is this team seems determined to do whatever it takes to make sure what took place last season doesn’t happen again since another year of disappointing results could result in a few changes for both players and the coaching staff.

For now, instead of worrying about the negative stuff, let’s focus on the positive things that need to happen for the Panthers to make the dream of winning Super Bowl 54 more of a reality for the upcoming season since it will be underway before they know it.
