2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bruce Arians was once one of the hottest names in coaching. He filled in for Chuck Pagano in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts as the head coach battled cancer and was 9-3. That led to him landing with the Arizona Cardinals the following season and he went 10-6, 11-5, and 13-3 in his first three years. Then Arians struggled through a 7-8-1, and 8-8 campaign before retiring in 2017.

He worked on television during that time but then started musing about a comeback with the Cleveland Browns. That never happened but instead, he popped up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is now expected to try and get the most out of former No. 1 overall pick Jameis Winston. While Arians is a respected quarterback guru, this isn’t the easiest task.

Winston has continually shown a lack of maturity both on and off the field. His issues at Florida State were well documented and included accusations ranging from stealing soda at a fast food restaurant to sexual assault. He has yet to prove his decision making has improved as he was suspended three games in 2018 after accusations of groping a female Uber driver.

He lost his starting job twice last season as well to Ryan Fitzpatrick and enters 2019 with a career record of 21-33 — and is 6-16 since his nine-win campaign as a sophomore. Sure, there’s a chance Arians can tap into Winston’s talent and turn him into a winner. There’s also a chance this team could flop so hard that neither of them is back in 2020.
