By Joe Kipp
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had plenty of highs in his decorated career. We ranked his top five performances of all-time.
Where do we start with Aaron Rodgers, who many have called the most talented quarterback in NFL history. Arguably the most gifted thrower ever, Rodgers consistently makes plays under center for the Green Bay Packers that have viewers uttering “He did what?!” while simultaneously cheering on their franchise quarterback.
But with great talent comes great expectations, and Rodgers hasn’t shied away from the spotlight. Succeeding another former Packer great — Brett Favre — certainly wasn’t easy, but Rodgers took the keys to the franchise and has created his own legacy.
During his 11 years as a starter, Rodgers has a career record of 100-57-1. He’s recorded 337 touchdowns versus just 79 interceptions, coupled with an outstanding 103.5 passer rating. His 64.9 completion percentage and 42,615 passing yards both put him in elite categories, as well. Rodgers’ touchdown to interception ratio and career passer rating both rank as the best in NFL history.
To tack on to the impressiveness, Rodgers has won two regular season MVP awards, a Super Bowl MVP, seven Pro Bowl nods and two times was named a first-team All-Pro. His best season came in 2011 when he posted an astounding 45 touchdowns and just six interceptions, all in 15 games.
Along the way, Rodgers has had incredible performances to complement his career milestones. From winning Super Bowl XLV, to breaking no-interceptions streaks, to chucking up Hail Marys left and right, Rodgers is known for being great.
That said, narrowing down his greatest performances wasn’t easy, but we think we’ve done it. There’s bound to be more to add to this list in the future, but for now we’ll have to make do with what we’ve got. So, without further ado, let’s look at Aaron Rodgers’ top five performances of all-time.
