6. DeSean Jackson – WR

About to begin his second stint with the Eagles, DeSean Jackson burst into the league as an electrifying rookie in 2008. Jackson quickly emerged as a dangerous deep threat for Philadelphia’s offense and he also provided a spark for the team as a punt returner.

In just his second season with the Eagles, the speedy receiver scored a total of 12 touchdowns (nine receiving, two returns, one rushing) and earned his first of two straight trips to the Pro Bowl. The following year, Jackson finished with over 1,000 receiving yards again scored another eight touchdowns (six receiving, one rushing, one return). His 22.5 yards per catch average was also the best in the NFL that season.

Jackson’s production died down a bit in 2011 and 2012, but then he came back in 2013 to have arguably the best season of his professional football career. In 16 games, he ended up with 82 catches for 1,332 yards, and nine touchdowns and another invite to the Pro Bowl.

During the 21st century, Jackson has accumulated more receiving yards (6,117) in a Philadelphia uniform than any other player to suit up for the franchise. He’s also tied for the franchise lead in punt return touchdowns (four) since the 2000 season.

Depending on how his second campaign with the Eagles turns out, Jackson could easily find himself much higher on this list once his NFL career comes to a close.
