Looking ahead to the 2019 season, we take an in-depth look at the different position groups for the Dallas Cowboys. Here is a glance at their quarterbacks.

Heading into 2019, the Dallas Cowboys have two of their most important offensive players entering the last season of their respective contracts. Wide receiver Amari Cooper is playing on the fifth and final year of his rookie deal whereas quarterback Dak Prescott is entering his fourth year — which is also his last on his contract.

Both are incredibly important to their success although the signal-caller will get all the attention — as is often the case. Prescott, who made his second Pro Bowl last season, was able to shake off a poor start to the season.

Of course, he wasn’t able to shake off that slow start until Dallas made the move for Cooper — who was acquired in exchange for a first-round pick from the Oakland Raiders. Once he arrived, Prescott looked like his old self and Dallas went 7-1 down the stretch and won the NFC East.

That proved that it takes more than just a gunslinger to have success, but still, Prescott is the star of the team and they will go as far as he does. With all that being said, we will look at how the Cowboys stack up as a whole in the quarterback department.
