Cleveland Browns: Ranking 5 best moves of 2019 offseason
By Cory Kinnan
The Cleveland Browns have had an extremely busy offseason, and as a result, their expectations are through the roof in 2019. Here are their top five moves.
Well, well, well — how the tables have turned. The Cleveland Browns have gone from bullied to the bullies in a matter of one year under the reign of general manager John Dorsey and are now the favorites in Las Vegas to win the AFC North in 2019. The Browns are no longer the NFL’s punching bag and are ready to take the league by storm.
Last offseason, the Browns brought in Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward and Jarvis Landry. This offseason they added even more talent to their roster. This upgrade saw the Browns take a huge leap from 0-16 to 7-8-1 in the matter of one season.
Now Hue Jackson is gone and Freddie Kitchens is driving the bus. With all of these moves made in Cleveland this offseason, expectations are through the roof, and due to the nature of the players on the roster, they may have to succeed early on or it could be a different season than anticipated.
In such a busy offseason, it was hard to narrow down their moves to the five best. However, the deed has been done, and here are the best five moves made by the Browns so far in the 2019 offseason as training camp nears.
