4. Getting Greedy in the second round

The fourth best move made by the Browns required a ton of patience from Dorsey as they were able to land Greedy Williams with the 46th overall pick in the draft. While Williams was not a top-five cornerback in the draft (and was not one of the first five taken), to get him midway through the second round is immense value for a guy with the ceiling of Williams’.

There were rumors that Dorsey was interested in trading up to grab a player at the end of the first round or early on day two, instead he waited until three spots before the Browns were on the clock to move up just a bit and got Greedy. The Browns may now have the best young, athletic tandem of cornerbacks in the NFL with Ward and Williams.

Athleticism is not lacking with Williams, as he ran a blazing sub-4.4-second 40-yard dash at the combine. Size is not an issue either as the lanky corner stands right around 6-2. Williams will need to bulk up a bit to add some muscle to his frame, but the Browns got a steal in the second round.
