With mandatory minicamps commencing around the league, it feels like a perfect time to see where each team stacks up in this 2019 NFL Power Rankings

Nearly the entire offseason is in the books as the 2019 NFL season is quickly approaching. With mandatory minicamps wrapping up, it means teams will be away until the start of training camp — which is quickly followed by the preseason.

Of course, after those four weeks worth of exhibition games — five if you want to count the glorified practice known as the Hall of Fame Game — the real season begins.

That’s the part that really matters, but teams need all this “down time” to work on their clubs. There’s the matter of their own free agents, outside additions, and the ever-popular NFL Draft. Hit a home run in these areas, and you can suddenly see your team climb up the boards in NFL Power Rankings.

One team that surely did themselves some favors in this offseason is the Cleveland Browns. A year after going 0-16, they managed to earn a 7-8-1 record in 2018 but then got to work solidifying their roster. They added Olivier Vernon, Sheldon Richardson, Kareem Hunt and a guy named Odell Beckham Jr.

Other teams saw some departures as the Baltimore Ravens lost three of their key defenders with C.J. Mosely, Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith all exiting in free agency.

With all those moves now done, we take some time to look at how all 32 teams stack up with this post-minicamp edition of the 2019 NFL Power Rankings.
