1. Tom Brady – QB

Hopefully, Tom Brady being at the top of this list doesn’t come as a shock to anyone. If it does, then this person clearly hasn’t witnessed what Brady has been able to accomplish since becoming the Patriots’ starting quarterback in 2001.

Since then, all the veteran passer has done is win three NFL MVPs, win four Super Bowl MVPs, be voted to the Pro Bowl 14 times, earn three First-Team All-Pro selections, and lead New England to six Super Bowl victories. During this time, Brady has also led the league in passing touchdowns four times, passing yards three times, and passer rating twice.

Even as a 41-year old in 2018, he was still able to perform at an MVP-caliber level. No one really knows when Brady will eventually hang it up because it doesn’t seem like his play is getting any worse.

Whenever he does actually decide to retire, he will not only be regarded as the best quarterback in Patriots history, but the argument can easily be made for him being the greatest passer in NFL history as well. Brady is a first-ballot Hall of Famer without a single doubt.

What he has been able to do during his career with New England is even more amazing when one realizes that he only got the opportunity to play in 2001 because the team’s starting quarterback got hurt. If not for that moment, the great legacy of Tom Brady may not even exist.
