The bad taste of last season’s ending still lingers and the players and coaches want to use that as a motivator to go further in the playoffs this season.
Another motivator is much of the national media’s belief that the Bears will regress in 2019. That same media also underestimated the Bears in 2018, and they ended up going from worst to first in the NFC North.
There is an aura around Halas Hall these days. The team has a feeling of unfinished business after the way last season ended on Cody Parkey‘s double-doink. They want to make a serious Super Bowl run and show that last season wasn’t just a fluke.
As the team heads into training camp, there are a few stories to follow. Yes, it’s true that there aren’t many battles for starting spots on the roster, but there are still plenty of stories to follow. There are some intriguing players battling to make the team. There are also some players who must step up in order for the Bears to have another magical season.
