Things are getting serious now. 2019 training camp is about a month away, and once it starts, all the talk ends and the work for another magical season for the Chicago Bears begins. The bad taste of last season’s ending still lingers and the players and coaches want to use that as a motivator to go further in the playoffs this season.

Another motivator is much of the national media’s belief that the Bears will regress in 2019. That same media also underestimated the Bears in 2018, and they ended up going from worst to first in the NFC North.

There is an aura around Halas Hall these days. The team has a feeling of unfinished business after the way last season ended on Cody Parkey‘s double-doink. They want to make a serious Super Bowl run and show that last season wasn’t just a fluke.

As the team heads into training camp, there are a few stories to follow. Yes, it’s true that there aren’t many battles for starting spots on the roster, but there are still plenty of stories to follow. There are some intriguing players battling to make the team.
