A recent Fantasy Football trend has been to avoid quarterbacks early but these three players change that narrative for the 2019 season.

The trend that has been created by fantasy football enthusiasts is completely understandable: Wait on quarterbacks. Usually, you can get a guy that has just around 50 or so fewer points than the top-ranked quarterback all the way in the 10th year. But in 2018 and through the 2019 offseason, that dramatically changed.

For the first time in a long time, a single quarterback was winning teams their respective leagues due to his insane talents and ability to change the game. Now, that changes even more as one player is a year removed from injury and another getting a boatload of talent added around him puts two more players in the same class as last year’s league-winner in being worthy of a fantasy football pick in the first five rounds.

Before naming those three, the understanding of wanting to fill your other positions before the single quarterback position on your team isn’t something to scoff at by any means. However, when we are just a year removed from a quarterback winning many teams their fantasy football championships, it may be time to seriously reconsider our draft strategies with these specific talents.

It is now just a matter of what round in the first five you can pull that trigger and shock your league mates. The clear overall QB1 in fantasy football will be the player looked at as early as Round 2.

Let’s take a look at this trio of fantasy football quarterbacks, led off with the No. 1 rostered guy on championship teams last season.
