We all know about Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott, but which other Dallas Cowboys players need to be given new contracts soon?

Contracts have been a big topic of conversation for the Dallas Cowboys this offseason, and rightfully so. A young corps of players is starting to approach the end of their rookie deals with the first being defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence.

There was a lot of back and forth between D-Law and the Boys this offseason as they approached that deal. In fact, things got so bad that there was even some concern that he could have been headed out the door. According to Matt Verderame of FanSided, Lawrence’s agent was pushing for a trade before the two sides finally agreed to a five-year, $105 million contract.

Next up in the contract carousel is a trio of offensive players in Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott. All three are key members of the team but also will demand an awful lot of money.

Prescott and Cooper are each looking at massive contracts as the quarterback market is nearing $30 million a year for everyone and Cooper is eyeballing some of the $20 million deals out there. Elliott will be harder to figure out as there aren’t as many big running back contracts, but they could look at the four-year $60 million deal Todd Gurley signed as a starting point.

From there, America’s Team needs to decide on linebacker Jaylon Smith who is becoming one of the best in the game as well as cornerback Byron Jones. However, the big names aren’t the only Cowboys deserving new contracts.

Here we look at three players who are flying under the radar in terms of needing a new deal but deserve one anyway.
