The Cleveland Browns are becoming a much harder team to make and it is not getting any easier; who could be on the bubble of the 53-man roster?
Just a couple years ago, the roster of the Cleveland Browns was littered with undrafted free agents and a fairly easy team to make if given the opportunity. That is no more as the Browns have loaded up on talent over the past two years and have become not only a tough roster to make, but a desirable location for players to come as well.
Sheldon Richardson, Olivier Vernon and Greedy Williams are just a few high profile names to join the roster, and there are not enough spots for everyone. The roster saw a big turnover last year, and while this year will not be as drastic, it could still send shockwaves across the team.
The amount of players held over from the Sashi Brown era is now limited as the team went through a massive turnover last offseason, retaining less than half of the roster from the year before. As camp rolls around, how many more vets will lose their spots to younger players now on the roster?
From an athletic freak that has yet to stay healthy and pan out, to an undrafted free agent who performed well when needed, here are four current players on the Browns’ roster who may not make the final 53-man cuts by the time training camp is over.
