Few NFL teams have been as successful as the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2000. Who are some of the players that helped them be so successful?

Since the 2000 NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers are one of just four teams to have multiple Super Bowl victories. The Steelers six appearances in the AFC Championship during the last 18 years are also the most of any other team around the league not named the New England Patriots.

What has been impressive about Pittsburgh’s success during the 21st century is their ability to maintain it even after making a head coaching change. During their last 18 seasons, the Steelers have ended the year with a losing record just once.

Pittsburgh has actually never finished a season with a losing record since Mike Tomlin was hired to be the team’s head coach in 2007.

The Steelers have been able to be so successful during the 21st century thanks to a number of very talented players. And unlike some teams around the league, the majority of Pittsburgh’s top performers over the last 18 years have come from the NFL Draft.

Over the next two decades, expect the Steelers to have multiple current and former players who have suited up for them during the 21st century to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

So of all the guys to put on the black and gold Pittsburgh uniform since the 2000 season, who are the seven that should be considered as the absolute best?
