Last season was filled with plenty of major surprises across the NFL, and near the top of that list was the Chicago Bears not only earning a trip to the playoffs, but winning the NFC North as well.

With all of the expectations surrounding the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers, the Bears seemed like long shots to win the division title over their rivals, but the team managed to exceed expectations during Matt Nagy’s first season.

Coming up short the way they did in the opening round of the playoffs against the Philadelphia Eagles was beyond frustrating for numerous reasons, but the good news for Chicago is they can use what happened as a learning experience to improve moving forward.

Looking at how this team is built on paper, there’s every reason in the world to believe the Bears will be a top contender in the NFL once again during the 2019 season, although that’s always easier said than done of course.

Thanks to their previous success from last season, Chicago will be dealing with a new level of pressure heading into 2019 with targets on their back as a top contender in the NFC, but at least when it comes to handling it, there’s no reason for concern.
