Nov. 24 vs. Oakland

This should be a high-scoring affair. All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown is now a member of the silver and black and he comes through with a 139-yard, two touchdown performance. However, the Jets intercept Derek Carr twice and Darnold tosses a pair of touchdown passes and rambles for another score in a 35-24 Jets victory that moves them to 7-4 on the season.

Dec. 1 at Cincinnati

The Jets lead the all-time series with the Bengals, 17-9 but have not traveled to the Queen City since 2013, when they were trounced, 49-9. New York’s defense has to contend with two superior talents in halfback Joe Mixon and wide receiver A.J. Green. Mixon rushed for 1,168 yards last year while Green is a seven-time Pro Bowler. Mixon rushes for 105 yards and a touchdown while Green chips in with seven receptions for 93 yards as Cincinnati edges Gang Green, 21-17.

Dec. 8 vs. Miami

It’s very hard to sweep a season series from a divisional opponent (unless you’re the Patriots) but the Jets do just that as Bell rambles for 115 yards and a score while Chris Herndon adds 45 receiving yards and a red zone touchdown to power the Jets. Sam Darnold chips in with 242 yards passing as Gang Green hooks the Fish, 23-19.

Dec. 12 at Baltimore

The short week will not help the Jets as they trek down to Baltimore to meet the bruising Ravens. Baltimore leads the series, 8-2. Do you now that the green and white have never beaten the Ravens in Baltimore? This will be an emotional game for ex-Raven C.J. Mosley. Darnold has a rough one here as the Ravens sack him six times and intercept him twice in a 20-3 Baltimore triumph.

Dec. 22 vs. Pittsburgh

You can bet that there will be a quite a throng of Steelers fans at MetLife shortly before Christmas.  Steeler fans always travel well. Bell faces his old squad here and enjoys a superb outing, scampering for 155 total yards from scrimmage and two scores to power Gang Green to a 31-21 victory over the Steel Curtain. Big Ben’s three touchdown passes is not enough to counteract New York’s D, which records four sacks.

Dec. 29 at Buffalo

It will be cold, raw and windy at New Era Field as the Jets close out their 2019 campaign. Josh Allen excels here with two touchdown passes and a 12-yard touchdown burst to propel the Bills to a 24-13 win. The lone bright spot for Gang Green is Jamison Crowder‘s 57-yard scoring reception from Sam Darnold, who finishes his sophomore season in the NFL with 28 touchdown strikes.

Final record: 9-7
