There are few teams in the NFL today who have as rich a history as the Green Bay Packers. The Packers will forever be known as the franchise to win each of the first two Super Bowls to ever be played.

But after their victories in the big game, Green Bay fell into a bit of a slump over the next two-and-a-half decades. From 1968-92, the Packers only managed to earn two appearances in the playoffs.

Things began to change for the better after Green Bay hired Mike Holmgren to be their head coach. With Holmgren and a young gunslinger by the name of Brett Favre under center, the Packers figured out how to win again and it eventually led to the team winning their third Super Bowl in 1997.

During the 21st century, Green Bay has continued to put together successful season after successful season and they even earned another Super Bowl victory in 2010.

Since 2000, no team in the NFC has made more trips to the postseason (13) or won more regular season games (184) than the Packers. During this time, Green Bay has also won nine division titles and played in four NFC Championships.
