Biggest TE Sleeper: Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans

34 years old with 15 games missed a season ago due to a broken ankle — it is fair to have Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker ranked outside of the top 10 at tight end coming into fantasy football draft season. The Fantasy Pros consensus rankings say Walker should be the 13th tight end off the board, which is wild when you think of how good he has been when healthy.

Not only has he proven himself to be the top option in the passing game for Marcus Mariota when he is on the field, but he’s also shown to be an elite fantasy football option at the position.

Before getting injured and missing most of the 2018 season, Walker’s end-of-season rankings had been fantastic. From 2015-17, the Titans tight end finished as TE2, TE5 and TE4, respectively, in fantasy scoring. Walker has a track record of success in fantasy and as long as he is healthy which should only continue.

There is a scare of when Walker will be 100 percent in terms of his health with the possibility of kicking off 2019 training camp on the PUP list. But as soon as he is cleared to go, he will be the top steal at TE.

Sleepers win fantasy football owners their championships and these four players, capped off by Walker, are in line to do the same this season. Having the advantage at tight end is huge and Walker can potentially provide that if you’re lucky enough to snag him.
