The Cleveland Browns enter the 2019 season with expectations for the first time in awhile; here are five burning questions that must be answered.

This offseason has been a complete whirlwind for the Cleveland Browns, and now as training camp is finally upon us, we can put the rumors and commentary in the backseat as actual football is about to be played. Just to recap the offseason it has been for the Browns to this point, here is the madness that took place:

Freddie Kitchens, after leading the offense to the most success it has had in a decade, was named head coach of the Browns. Todd Monken and Steve Wilks were hired as offensive and defensive coordinator respectively.

Embattled running back Kareem Hunt was added to an already talented backfield, causing the Browns to put Duke Johnson on the trade market and him requesting a trade as well; Hunt will be suspended the first eight games of the 2019 season though.

Superstar wide receiver was finally exiled from the Big Apple as the New York Giants made a deal with the Browns for up-and-coming safety Jabrill Peppers, a first rounder and a third rounder. The Browns also acquired edge rusher Olivier Vernon from the Giants for guard Kevin Zeitler.

Highly touted rookie cornerback fell to the Browns in the second round of the draft, giving Cleveland a potential duo of Denzel Ward and Williams for at least the next four years. Along with Williams, the Browns added the likes of Sheldon Richardson and Morgan Burnett in free agency as well.

Along with all of the movement and national attention, the Browns also have a ton of questions to answer. No longer the “same old Browns,” here are five burning questions that must be answered in Cleveland before the start of the 2019 season.
