Oregon Offensive Line

The Ravens will eventually have to look to replace some holes on the offensive line. Marshall Yanda isn’t getting any younger and the rest of the interior line spots could improve. Luckily for them, the Oregon Ducks have one of the best offensive lines in the country. Calvin Throckmorton is considered to be one of the best tackles in the class. Of course, the Ravens have two young tackles in place already. Instead, they should look at the interior.

Center Jake Hanson and right guard Dallas Warmack are both great athletes on the interior. They are strong in the sense that they do not allow penetration into the backfield. Both are excellent in pass protection and have the athleticism to get out in the run game as well.

Hanson is arguably the top center in the nation heading into the season. Warmack has a chance to make his name known after another year of strong play. His brother, Chance Warmack, was drafted 10th overall by the Tennessee Titans in 2013.

Shane Lemieux is the name to know of this group, though. Lemieux is a powerful entity on the line. He refuses to let rushers by him with pure strength. What separates Lemieux from the other two is that he can use his strength to push down the field and create a path with his pure power. However, he isn’t quite the athlete. If the Ravens want Lemieux, they will likely have to spend a high pick. I have him at sixth overall in my summer rankings.

Oregon opens the season with Auburn. The Tigers have one of the best defensive fronts in college football, making for a good test for this Ducks front to kick things off.
