Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp: Storylines, camp battles and expectations

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers open training camp next week with a new direction under head coach Bruce Arians and there is no shortage of stories to follow.
Last season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished last in the NFC South. The Buccaneers started two different quarterbacks but were mired in mediocrity. After finishing 5-11, Bruce Arians was hired as the new head coach in January. He brings a wealth of experience to Tampa Bay.
Arians has worked with elite level quarterbacks in his previous NFL stints in Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and Arizona. His new coaching staff will mentor this young group of Buccaneers players into contenders for the divisional title. Training camp kicks off very soon.
July 26 is the first practice open to the public, according to the team’s website. Practices will begin each day at 4:00 p.m. ET at both the AdventHealth Training Center and indoor facility. The facilities are located at One Buccaneer Place in Tampa.
