Biggest Camp Battle: Starting Wide Receivers

The Jaguars receiving corps is very deep. Chris Conley and Terrelle Pryor signed as unrestricted free agents this spring. Marqise Lee will return after missing last season with an injury. Dede Westbrook and D.J. Chark are looking for banner years after getting adjusted to the speed of the pro game. Keelan Cole is hoping to acquire that last roster spot for Week 1.

Chark and Lee will battle for the receiving spot across from Westbrook. Both players have the ability to make plays after the catch. Lee has been a slot receiver instead of an outside receiver.

The new offensive scheme will play havoc with the receivers as they get adjusted to the new route tree. Jacksonville will employ some of the same scheme that Foles used in Philadelphia. The receiver that adjusts the quickest to the new-look offense will win the job.

Conley or Pryor could contend for that No. 2 receiving spot. Each has played in this system on different teams in the past. They will battle for being third receiving option.

The receiving corps is best camp battle to watch. All the receivers have explosive speed and athleticism to excel on the field. Plus, they have a quarterback to get them the ball in a position to make plays.
