As fantasy football commissioners tune up their drafts, we’ll take a look at five Oakland Raiders who should land on your radar this summer.

We’re easing into fantasy football season — when league commissioners begin to round up teams for their groups, and NFL fans look to cash out or earn bragging rights among friends. Despite coming off a 4-12 campaign, the Oakland Raiders have five players to keep an eye on for the 2019 term.

After a flurry of offseason rumors questioning the Raiders’ commitment to quarterback Derek Carr, he’s still the man under center with a revamped wide receiver group. In a rare occurrence, the three-time Pro Bowler will operate the same offensive system in consecutive years.

Carr experienced a rough start to the 2018 term, but he seemed to figure out head coach Jon Gruden’s system as the season progressed despite a porous offensive line. After taking 51 sacks, he should have better pass protection for the upcoming campaign.

With investments in right tackle Trent Brown and left guard Richie Incognito, who will serve a two-game suspension for violating the league’s personal conduct policy, we could see a much-improved Carr in Year 2 under Gruden, but how much better?

The Raiders have two offensive skill players who are safe fantasy options because of the team’s investment in both players and their prospective roles. Nonetheless, we shouldn’t overlook an underrated asset and a sleeper pick in the lineup.

We’ll break down the top five Raiders’ fantasy options with an emphasis on point-per-reception (PPR) leagues. Who should you target and draft? Who provides the best value in comparison to their adjusted draft position (ADP), provided by Fantasy Football Calculator?
