Draft content never stops as preparations for the 2020 NFL Draft are well underway; here are the top five running backs entering the 2019 season.

As NFL teams have all now reported for training camp, college teams are not far behind. This means that the 2020 NFL Draft preparations are now close to full swing. Draft season never ends, and today the top five college running backs will be ranked after watching 14 of the top backs.

It is now easy to say that the skills positions in this year’s draft class will be insane, and the running back class is quite deep. As the NFL evolves to more of a college style game, running backs are at an advantage. As a result, we have seen more running backs go in the first round over the past few years.

There is potential that there could be two or three more backs this year who could hear their name called in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In fact, one back even received a top 10 overall grade. This does not mean the back will be selected in the top 10 but has the potential to be considered that high year in and year out.

Just missing the top five list entering the upcoming college football season were Utah’s Zack Moss, Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor and Oklahoma’s Trey Sermon. Here are the top five running backs to keep a close eye on as they could be selected in the top two rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft your favorite NFL team when next Spring rolls around.
