2. Jones can handle duties of No. 1 running back

It’s been no secret how frustrating it’s been at times over the years to find a consistent No. 1 running back in Green Bay since each time they seem to have a strong candidate, things eventually fail to work out.

Heading into the 2019 season, the Packers are rightfully excited about what Aaron Jones can do as the No. 1 player in the backfield after watching him rush for 728 yards in 2018 to go along with eight touchdowns.

This may not seem like the biggest deal in the world, but also keep in mind that Green Bay is a team with a history of relying on Rodgers for the most part, meaning they tend to pass more when on offense.

Based off the fact that Jones seems to be getting better each season with NFL experience, the Packers should be pleased over what will be in store with their beloved running back in 2019 while also taking some of the pressure off Rodgers.

Plus, with Jamaal Williams proving to be reliable at times when given the opportunity to play, this could benefit Jones as well when it comes to dealing with the pressure of being the No. 1 option at running back.
