Seattle Seahawks – WR D.K. Metcalf

D.K. Metcalf has all the physical gifts to make an impact right away. When you have one of the great quarterbacks in the league throwing you the ball, it makes it a little easier. The absence of Doug Baldwin creates a void in an offense that’s starving for playmakers. Metcalf can be the man who gets the attention from Russell Wilson.

The Seahawks offense makes it’s living running the ball, effectively setting up for the pass. Metcalf’s ability to against the press and get behind defenses makes him valuable. More importantly, he’s strong with good hands and the ability to separate underneath. Don’t be surprised if he leads all rookie receivers in yards.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers – LB Devin White

Devin White comes in with high expectations and the talent to warrant them. He’s a Rookie of the Year candidate whose dynamic play-style will change the Buccaneers’ defense. Todd Bowles will put White in a position where his weaknesses are masked and strengths are maximized. White has amazing speed and quick-twitch ability that allows him to make plays on the ball. He has amazing strength that he can convert to power on blitz situations.

Up front, he’s protected by Vita Vea, who’ll help keep him clean. Alongside him is Lavonte David as the instinctive veteran who’ll play the stack linebacker for Bowles. With the talent around him, White has the chance to see-ball, get-ball and make big plays.
