High-profile second-rounders will be showcased as the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks face off in the preseason. Here’s how fans can watch the game.
The Denver Broncos helped bring NFL action back to life as they picked up a win in the Hall of Fame Game. Now, they get the actual NFL preseason started on Thursday evening as they travel to CenturyLink Field to take on the Seattle Seahawks. These are two teams that have seen some big changes this offseason, leaving them with critical decisions to make in the preseason.
For the Broncos, they traded for Joe Flacco to start at quarterback but also hope that second-round rookie Drew Lock can take over that spot at some point. In the Hall of Fame Game, Lock was a bit all over the place but the hope is that more experience will help him to progress. Meanwhile, we could see Flacco along with guys like Bradley Chubb and Von Miller in this preseason tilt.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks traded Frank Clark this offseason and put pressure on their other members of the defensive line. They also put pressure on Russell Wilson and the offense, too. Wilson will need to keep the offense humming, even with Doug Baldwin being forced into retirement. That’s where athletic freak and second-round rookie D.K. Metcalf could come into play as he makes his NFL debut in the preseason on Thursday.

That makes for a great matchup in the first week of the preseason, one that fans should be ready to tune in for.
