The Philadelphia Eagles start a quest for a third straight playoff appearance with an NFL preseason game against the Tennessee Titans. Here’s how to watch.

The 2019 NFL season will very much be about the quarterback for both the Philadelphia Eagles and Tennessee Titans. In the case of the former, all eyes are on Carson Wentz this season now that Nick Foles is in Jacksonville. Meanwhile, Tennessee needs Marcus Mariota to prove that he’s their franchise quarterback as the results have been mixed for him to this point. But first, they meet in Week 1 of the NFL preseason.

While the bulk of the Eagles focus will be on Wentz this season, he probably won’t see many snaps — if any — in this matchup. Even still, Philadelphia will get good looks at rookies such as Andre Dillard at offensive tackle, Miles Sanders at running back and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside at wide receiver. Heck, we might even get a glimpse of Jordan Howard in his new home.

It’s also difficult to say how much Mariota will be on the field for the Titans but they also won’t have their two highest-drafted rookies, Jeffery Simmons and A.J. Brown, due to injury. Even still, getting looks at young players such as Amani Hooker, Sharif Finch and D’Andre Walker should be valuable for Tennessee and good entertainment for fans.

Even without the stars on the field, there is a lot to watch for depth purposes in regards to this game, so fans should be sure to get in on the action.
