The Oakland Raiders are already in trouble due to a helmet, causing them to slide some in our 2019 NFL Power Rankings after Week 1 of the preseason.

After an incredibly long offseason, the NFL finally got things going with the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 1. Of course, that game is never the most exciting as teams rarely use any of their key players with it being so early in training camp. That was the case as the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos faced off in the kickoff game.

This past week, there was much more action as all 32 teams got their seasons started as Week 1 of the 2019 NFL preseason began. It all started on Thursday night with a slate of 11 games. Two more were played Friday night and the final three took place Saturday in Prime Time.

Even with all that going on, the most interesting action took place off-field as the Oakland Raiders had their share of drama which definitely affects them in these NFL Power Rankings — and could have a huge impact on their regular-season standings as well.

More. Legitimate concerns about Antonio Brown. light

The drama was centered around wide receiver Antonio Brown who was upset over a helmet of all things. The fact that Brown is showing out should be no surprise to Oakland because his behavior is the exact reason he’s no longer with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

One of the more productive Pittsburgh players ever, Brown started to show his displeasure last season as he grew frustrated with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. This was far from the first time he ruffled feathers in the Steel City, but it ended up being the last time as they shipped him to the Raiders this offseason.

He was supposed to help them improve but instead has them wondering whether or not he will even show up to work. It also has them kicking off our NFL Power Rankings as the No. 32 team.
