3. Los Angeles Rams (3)

It’s hard to find a team that made as quick of a turnaround as the one the Los Angeles Rams did in 2017. After going 4-12 in 2016, the Rams made a great hire as they gave their head coaching job to Sean McVay, who was just 30-years old at the time of his hire. The youngest coach in the modern era of football quickly became a winner as he is 24-8 in his two seasons with two NFC West titles.

McVay even took Los Angeles to the Super Bowl last season, but they came up short as the New England Patriots ended up winning their sixth title. Even with the defeat, the Rams are still one of the best teams entering the 2019 season and McVay has even started have a coaching tree as several of his former assistants have been getting interviews and been hired for head coaching jobs across the league.

This doesn’t mean there are no worries in La La Land though, as the Rams have to be very worried about running back Todd Gurley. There were reports of the star running back struggling with arthritis in his knee and while he disputes that, there clearly has been some knee problems for the young back.

L.A. added a solid backup in Darrell Henderson and they do have many other options but that doesn’t mean it would be easy to replace No. 30 because he is simply special.
