Jets vs. Falcons, NFL Preseason Week 2: How to watch
By Randy Gurzi
The Atlanta Falcons host the New York Jets in the second week of the 2019 NFL Preseason. Here is all the info you need in order to watch the game.
For the Atlanta Falcons, this week brings up their third preseason game, as they had one extra exhibition outing this year due to being in the annual Hall of Fame Game. This one will be their first home game though, as they host the New York Jets at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It will also be the preseason debut for Matt Ryan, who has yet to see the field for Atlanta. The former NFL MVP sat out the first two games, as did most of their starters. He could also be joined by running back Devonta Freeman, although that hasn’t been confirmed.
For the Jets, they will continue to try and build on what was a solid start for second-year quarterback Sam Darnold. The No. 3 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is working in a new offense after New York fired Todd Bowles and brought in Adam Gase.
Darnold was 4-of-5 passing for 68 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 against the New York Giants but was bailed out by a dropped interception as his first pass went right to safety Jabrill Peppers.
Tune in to see how both teams look as they continue to progress toward the start of the 2019 NFL Season.

In this one, expect Darnold to get more work than he did in the first game as he continues to try and master Gase’s playbook. The comfort he feels in running that playbook will be key to their success, or lack thereof, this year. As for Ryan, don’t be shocked if he lasts just one series before tagging in one of the other Matt’s on the team.
