The Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen head to Charlotte to face Christian McCaffrey and the Carolina Panthers in Preseason Week 2. Here’s all the info to watch.

On Friday night, the Carolina Panthers will host the Buffalo Bills as each team plays their second game of the 2019 NFL preseason. As is the case with most teams this time of year, there was good and bad for both squads in their first outings but as we likely see more of the starters at Bank of America Stadium, they both hope to see more good.

While Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey didn’t suit up for the Panthers last week, they still saw plenty of good things. In particular, rookie first-round pick Brian Burns and 2018 draft pick Marquis Haynes were forces in the pass rush. While both players hope to continue showing out against Buffalo, we’ll see if the offensive stars make an appearance in Week 2 of the preseason.

Josh Allen saw a little bit of time last week for the Bills but not much at all. The hope is that Buffalo will see more of him against a talented Carolina defense. Furthermore, fans have to be optimistic that rookie Ed Oliver will show up in a big way and that rookie running back Devin Singletary can build off an impressive preseason debut last week.

Friday’s game will be broadcast only in local markets but out of market fans can watch via NFL Game Pass and FuboTV. Both services are available via a paid subscription, though they are offering a 7-day free trial.

Given how tough their divisions will be at the top, it’s hard to think the Bills and Panthers will be in the playoff picture at the end of the regular season. In the preseason, though, they’re trying to put the pieces together to potentially make a run at a Wild Card spot. We’ll see how close they are to that on Friday night.
