Week 3: New York Jets (Home)

Just as the Patriots struggle to get a win in Miami recently, the Jets’ luck has been pretty bad every time they travel for a matchup in New England. The Patriots have won 10-straight home games against New York, including their last three by an average of 31 points.

The Jets have a new head coach in Adam Gase and a new running back in Le’Veon Bell, but this shouldn’t make much of a difference in their showdown with New England. Neither has experienced much success against the Patriots during their time in the NFL.

This specific matchup might not be a blowout like the last few to take place on the Patriots’ home field, but still, expect New England to leave their stadium with a victory over New York.

Prediction: Win (2-1)

Week 4: Buffalo Bills (Away)

Buffalo has been a bit of a second home for the Patriots since Tom Brady became their starting quarterback in 2001. Brady and New England have won seven-straight road matchups against the Bills and the Patriots quarterback is 15-2 in 17 career starts inside Buffalo’s home stadium.

The Bills may have a chance to be better in 2019 than they were last season. But whatever improvements they make still won’t be enough to defeat Brady and New England at home for the first time since 2011.

Prediction: Win (3-1)
