Week 14: Kansas City Chiefs (Home)

With another loss added to their record after their game against the Texans, the Patriots know that they need to pull it together if they want to earn a favorable spot in the playoffs. Defeating the Chiefs will definitely help put New England back in contention for a top seed in the postseason.

As talented as Kansas City may be, trying to beat the Patriots on their home field in December is close to impossible. New England hasn’t lost a home game in December since 2015 and they’re 18-3 in these games since 2010.

Even though the Chiefs were able to get a road win over the Patriots in 2017, that was Kansas City’s only victory in New England in eight meetings since 1991. Expect the Patriots to figure out a way to come out of this matchup with a win.

Prediction: Win (9-4)

Week 15: Cincinnati Bengals (Away)

In their final road game of the season, New England gets to take on a team in the Bengals that likely won’t be playing for anything other than a high draft slot.

Cincinnati does have one win against the Patriots since Tom Brady became the team’s quarterback. But that’s it, just one win. New England has won six of their last seven matchups against the Bengals and there aren’t many reasons to believe the Patriots won’t get another victory in this year’s contest.

Prediction: Win (10-4)
