Week 16: Buffalo Bills (Home)

Bills fans would love for this game to be what decides the winner of the AFC East this season. But that likely won’t be the case as Buffalo will probably trail the Patriots by too many games by the time of this meeting to remain in contention for the division crown.

Oddly enough, the Bills’ last two wins over New England actually came in the Patriots’ home stadium. However, one of these victories (2014) came in a Week 17 matchup that saw Tom Brady out on the field for less than 50 percent of New England’s offensive snaps.

The Patriots will have the AFC playoff picture on their mind during this game against Buffalo, so don’t expect Brady and company to finish the day on the losing side of the scoreboard.

Prediction: Win (11-4)

Week 17: Miami Dolphins (Home)

With a first-round playoff bye potentially at stake, New England will be doing everything they can to end the regular season with a win.

Chances for a victory in this matchup seem pretty good for the Patriots, who get to take on a Dolphins team that could be in the running for the top pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the time these two face off in Week 17.

And for as much success that Miami has had on their home field against New England, the Dolphins haven’t earned a road victory over the Patriots since 2008. There’s a good chance that Miami will be in shambles for this specific game, so don’t bet on New England finishing their 2019 season with a loss.

Prediction: Win (12-4)
