The San Francisco 49ers go to Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos in preseason Monday Night Football. Here’s everything you need to watch.

San Francisco 49ers are buzzing heading into their Week 2 preseason matchup against the Denver Broncos. That’s because Jimmy Garoppolo will be traveling to Mile High Stadium and make his preseason debut after tearing his ACL early in the 2018 regular season. Now he’s back and hoping to take the Niners to new heights.

Garoppolo now has weapons around him that are exciting. Running back Tevin Coleman, wide receivers Deebo Samuel, Dante Pettis and Jalen Hurd and, of course, tight end George Kittle all inspire 49ers optimism. The linchpin for this team’s success, though, will be the defense. We won’t see much of Dee Ford (if any) and Nick Bosa is injured but those are guys that will factor into this team’s success in a massive way.

The Broncos have quarterbacks of their own to watch. After trading for veteran Joe Flacco, Denver brought in Drew Lock as a second-round pick. Lock hasn’t done much to push Flacco just yet but we will see how he keeps progressing throughout the preseason.

This game will be broadcast on ESPN, which means that fans can live stream the contest on WatchESPN or the ESPN app if you log in using a cable or satellite subscription. Fans can also check out the replay of the game on NFL Game Pass with a paid subscription to the service, though they are offering a 7-day free trial.

Getting to see Garoppolo will no doubt be what to watch for the 49ers while Lock and Flacco will be in focus for the Broncos. All in all, this is an intriguing matchup for the second week of the preseason and one that’s surely deserving of the primetime spot on Monday Night Football. Be sure to get in and cap off this week of preseason action right.
